ECC-Net report of 2022

Key moments:

  • The overall level of refunds obtained for consumers in Lithuania and elsewhere arising from our work amounted to 76 364 EUR. Apart from that, invoices for unsolicited goods were cancelled, traders fulfilled their obligations. Some cases are still being handled.
  • During 2019 ECC LT had 14 seminars on consumer rights in EU at universities, schools and other scholastic institutions.
  • Participated in organizing 2 conferences.
  • Participated in organizing 6 seminars for traders in Vilnius and Kaunas.
  • ECC LT gave interviews and participated in media segments for radio (188 times) and TV (7 times) stations.

  • During 2017 ECC LT had 20 seminars on consumer rights in EU at universities, schools and other scholastic institutions. At least 868 consumers were informed about their consumer rights and ECC-Net.

  • The overall level of refunds obtained for consumers in Lithuania and elsewhere arising from our work amounted to 22 831 EUR (statistics of March 2016). Apart from that, ivoices for unsolicited goods were cancelled, traders fulfilled their obligations. Some cases are still being handled.
  • During 2015 ECC LT had 39 seminars on consumer rights in EU at universities, schools and other scholastic institutions. Thus, 1486 consumers were informed.
  • ECC LT regularly gave interviews and participated in media segments for radio (65 times) and TV (4 times) stations.
  • 134 articles and case studies mentioning ECC LT appeared in national media.

Key moments:

  • 66 126 litai (Lithuanian currency) – an amount of money recouped during 2014 with the help of ECC LT (statistics of January 12 ,2015)! Moreoever, the bills for fake orders of merchandise have been removed for many of the consumers. Some complaints are still being processed.
  • We have organized 24 seminars about consumer rights in EU with at least  729 participants! 
  • ECC LT participated in 5 television and 71 radio shows!
  • At least 96 articles and case studies appeared in national media mentioning ECC LT.
  • ECC LT had 1311 fans on Facebook page at the end of 2014.
  • ECC LT had 88 followers on Twitter.
  • New information publications were published – leaflets about car rent and shopping online, pocket calendars with tips for travelers and other commercial publications: advertising stand, USB, universal charging stations for mobile devices, baggage tags, cases for travel documents, wall calendars, work books.
